Burlington Graphics Systems to expand

Racine-based Burlington Graphics Systems, plans to add a 19,200-square-foot addition to its 55,000-square-foot facility at 2600 Chicory Road in Racine.

The employee-owned company provides printing, coating, stamping and other services for a variety of products. The company has 110 employees.

The expansion will make room for a new state-of-the-art print press and additional support equipment to keep up with growing orders and an expanding customer base.

Kenosha-based Riley construction was hired to provide design/build services for the project. The architect for the project is Racine-based Butterfield, Rudie & Seitz Inc.

Construction is expected to begin in early February and be completed by June.
