Bucks team up for annual Bowl for the Cure Day

The Milwaukee Bucks, Premier Event Creations of Milwaukee, Classic Lanes of Greenfield and the Milwaukee Women’s Bowling Association are teaming up to present the Susan G. Komen Bowl for the Cure event on Friday, Jan. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at AMF Bowlero Lanes 11737 W. Burleigh St, Milwaukee.

The event is expected to draw up to 800 bowlers and will help raise funds to promote breast cancer research, awareness, education and treatment. Bowlers will be eligible for prizes and will also receive complimentary T-shirts and Bucks tickets. The  cost is $30 per bowler, and bowlers are encouraged to gather pledges for the chance to win additional prizes.

Last year, Milwaukee bowlers raised an impressive $73,500 at this event, contributing to a nationwide total of $1 million for the year and bringing the seven-year total to more than $6 million.
