Buck to sell suburban building for $42 million

    John Buck Co. is set to sell a 172,103-square-foot office building in Deerfield for $42 million, about four years after buying it for about $37 million.

    The Chicago-based developer has agreed to sell the five-story Four Parkway North building to a real estate investment trust of Norcross, Ga.-based Wells Real Estate Funds Inc., sources say. The deal is expected to close early this week.

    At $244 a square foot, Wells is paying a premium for the building at 4 Parkway Blvd. North, which is fully occupied with no leases expiring in the near future.
