Krista McMasters, CPA and chief executive officer of Clifton Gunderson LLP, was recently awarded the 2010-2011 WICPA Distinguished Career Award for her professional accomplishments and for her dedicated service to the WICPA and local community. In addition, Kelly Sics, CPA at Clifton Gunderson in Milwaukee, has received the 2010-2011 WICPA Outstanding Young Professional Award for her enthusiasm for the profession, for her involvement with the WICPA.
Richard Alley joined 13 other people as partner in Clifton Gunderson’s Milwaukee office and Jens Emerson and Scott Hess have been named partners for the firm’s Racine office.

EPIC Creative, West Bend, recently added Derek Keyeski, videographer; Sheri Kirchoff, SEO and web marketing specialist; Ryan Lerch, programmer; Gregory Shutters, junior graphic designer; and Heather Zopf, project manager, to its staff.

Milwaukee-based 7Summits has added John Larson as enterprise architect. Larson brings over twenty five years of experience in system architecture and development across a wide range of technologies. Prior to joining 7Summits, Larson was a technical director at Whittmanhart Interactive.

Bank Mutual has added Jenefer Kind to the position of vice president of bank operations at the Bank Mutual corporate headquarters in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee-based Geneva Capital Management Ltd. has added Nicholas Bauer, CFA in the newly created position of director of institutional sales and marketing, and Derek Pawlak also became principal of the firm.

Xiong Lee has joined CB Investment Services as the investment specialist, serving the Sheboygan area. His office will be located at Community Bank & Trust’s West office.  Lee comes to CB Investment Services after working as the client service consultant with Wells Fargo Advantage Funds.

Biotechnology

Bill Linton, founder of Fitchburg-based Promega, one of the first biotechnology companies in Wisconsin, was recently awarded the seventh annual Ken Hendricks Memorial Seize the Day award at the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Conference. The award celebrates entrepreneurial leaders who have been crucial to Wisconsin. The award is named in honor of the late Ken Hendricks, a Beloit businessman and 2006 Seize the Day winner who died in an accident in late 2007.

Health Care
Anne Murray has been promoted to director of Med-Health Financial Services, a for-profit subsidiary of Children’s Hospital and Health System and the largest health care collection agency in southeast Wisconsin. Murray joined Med-Health Financial Services as operations manager in 2005.
