- The Urban Economic Development Association’s will host a carnival as its third annual fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Milwaukee County Zoo Peck Welcome Center from 7:30 to 11 p.m. The “party with a purpose” will feature locally owned and operated restaurants and caterers, and cultural music. Attendees are encouraged to dress in cultural or festive attire to highlight the diverse heritage in the city. Cost to attend is $35 a person, it includes food tasting, entertainment and parking.
