- Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7 the 20th anniversary celebration of RiverSplash! 2009 presented by Miller Lite. All the action happens along the riverwalk in Pere Marquette Park, on Juneau and Highland Avenues, and on Water Street. Music acts will include Poi Dog Pondering, Nation Sack with Greg Koch and Pat McCurdy at stages located throughout the downtown area. Food will be provided from a variety of restaurants. A special Kid’s Day will be held on Sunday with events and activities for the whole family. Admission to the event is free.
- Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7 The Fifth annual Port Washington Pirate Festival in Rotary Park, Port Washington. Enjoy tens of thousands of fans of the Golden Age of Piracy, entertainment, food and vendors – all with a pirate theme. New this year are souvenir pictures with the pirates, and breakfast with the pirates on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
