Manpower adds to board of directors
Libby Sartain, former chief human resources officer of Yahoo! Inc., and Southwest Airlines has joined the board of directors of Milwaukee-based Manpower Inc.
“Libby’s distinguished 30-year career in human resources will be a great asset to our company as we continue to strengthen our position as a multi-faceted provider of HR Services that complement and expand upon our roots in the staffing industry," said Jeff Joerres, chairman and chief executive officer. "Libby is a true thought leader in the human resources industry and brings with her an impressive and proven track record of building human resources infrastructures within high-growth organizations."
Sartain, now serves as an active independent business advisor, conference speaker and author. She advises several start-ups and mature organizations on human resources, employer branding and talent management.
Bank Mutual names new president
The board of directors of Brown Deer-based Bank Mutual Corp. has elected David Baumgarten as president of the company.
Michael T. Crowley, Jr. will remain as chairman and chief executive officer of the company, but he will relinquish the title of president.
Bank Mutual is the fifth largest Wisconsin-based banking company. It has assets of $3.5 billion and operates 78 offices in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota.
