Fifth generation of family ownership continues at Bradley Corp.
Bradley Corp., a Menomonee Falls-based manufacturer of plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories and emergency equipment, has promoted Bryan Mullett to president of its plumbing fixtures business.
Mullett previously was vice president of operations for the same entity. In his new role, Mullett will focus on driving the company’s lean manufacturing, supply chain and total quality management.
Continuing the company’s family-ownership tradition, Mullett will be the fifth generation of the family to assume the president role. After a number of varied positions and responsibilities in his early years with the company, Mullett assumed his first management position in1997 as sales manager for the Washroom Accessory Division, then as national sales manager for Lenox Lockers, and director of customer relations.
“I’m very proud of Bryan’s accomplishments and his dedication to our company. The board of directors recognizes the effort that he has put into learning every facet of the business,” said Donald Mullet, chairman of Bradley Corp. “We are committed to family leadership, which is why it is so important for my sons Bryan, Erik and Christopher to continue honing their leadership experience within our talented management team.”

Waukesha County Chamber names Top 10 Small Businesses of the Year
The Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce has selected its 2010 Top 10 Small Businesses of the Year in Waukesha County.
Presented by the Waukesha County Chamber and BizTimes Milwaukee, the annual program salutes businesses that have showed financial growth, employee growth, a commitment to customer focus, employee relations and community service.
The winners of the 2010 Top 10 Small Businesses of the Year are:

  • Advanced Waste Services, West Allis, an environmental services firm specializing in chemical and liquid waste removal.
  • AmeriSign & Graphics, Pewaukee, a provider of signs, commercial printing and graphic services.
  • Central Office Systems, Waukesha, a provider of digital copies, printers and related service, support and supplies.
  • Custom Service Hardware Inc., Cedarburg, a wholesale distributor of kitchen cabinet and furniture hardware.
  • Ellenbecker Investment Group Inc., Pewaukee, a provider of financial planning, estate planning and investment services.
  • Enviro-Safe Consulting LLC, Brookfield, a provider of environmental, safety and resource recovery services to manufacturers throughout the country.
  • Lakeland Supply Inc., Waukesha, a distributor of packaging, paper and janitorial products.
  • Tim O’Brien Homes, Waukesha, a semi-custom single family home builder focused on affordable green and energy efficient projects.
  • Triad Construction Inc., West Allis, a construction management and general contracting company.
  • Zero Zone Inc., North Prairie, a manufacturer of refrigerated display cases and refrigeration systems for the food industry.

The 2010 Chamber’s Choice Award winner is Minuteman Press, a Waukesha-based company providing printing and graphics services in southeastern Wisconsin.
The Small Business of the Year will be announced at the awards event. All winners will be honored at a luncheon on Thursday, June 10, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee. For more information and to register to attend the event, visit www.waukesha.org.


BMA honors local firms with Bell Awards

The Business Marketing Association- Milwaukee Chapter recently honored several local firms with their annual Bell Awards. A panel of impartial judges from corporate advertising management and agencies from all over the country judged each entry on creativity, production, selling proposition and results. Each entry was then given a score, and the highest scoring entries received awards. To qualify for a Bell Award, an entry must earn the highest score in the division. To qualify for an Excellence Award, an entry must earn at least 85 percent of the score of the Bell Award winner in that division. The Bell ringer Best of Show Award will be conferred upon the entry considered by the judges to be the most outstanding example of advertising/marketing communication excellence.
