- Tuesday, Oct. 11 Third annual social media summit will be held at the Marquette Alumni Memorial Union Weasler Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The summit, presented by Hanson Dodge Creative and Marquette University will feature national speakers from brands like IBM, Lands End, The North Face, PepsiCo, American Eagle Outfitters and others. The focus of the summit will be on real world examples and be a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussion and workshops. Cost to attend is $99 and is limited to 350 people. - Wednesday, Oct. 12 Summit Young Professionals, a program of the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, will hold a networking and educational event, The High Level ABCs of Social Media at AmeriSign & Graphics, 115 W., Wisconsin Avenue, in Pewaukee from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event is presented by Phil Gerbyshak of Turning Minds Inc., Tim Gluth and Kate Knox of North Shore Bank, and Chris Sherman of AmeriSign & Graphics.
