*Now through Monday, Dec. 31, Milwaukee Winter Fest is featuring more than 50 rides and activities for families and adults at the Delta Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. The second annual event has new attractions divided into six activity zones with opportunities to zip line, ride a train through a holiday-themed village, roller skate, climb a rock wall and Velcro wall, experience a holiday obstacle course and more. The indoor festival also features a Milwaukee’s Got Talent singing competition and a New Year’s Eve Celebration with Radio Disney. Tickets cost $15 for kids and $10 for adults. *Now through Monday, Dec. 31, “The Polar Express: The IMAX Experience” is playing at the Dome Theater at the Milwaukee Public Museum, 800 W. Wells St. in Milwaukee. The movie runs 95 minutes and is rated G. Tickets cost $9 for adults; $8 for seniors, students and teens; and $7 for kids. Museum members can receive discounts for $7 tickets for adults, seniors, students and teens and $6 tickets for kids. Decorated landmarks include Cathedral Square Park, Pere Marquette Park, Zeidler Union Square and Wisconsin Avenue. A Jingle Bus will offer tours of the holiday displays through Sunday, Nov. 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The tours run 40 minutes and cost $1. *Monday, Dec. 31, the Harlem Globetrotters will perform special New Year’s Eve shows at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St. in Milwaukee. The shows, scheduled for 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., are part of the traveling basketball team’s 2013 “You Write the Rules” World Tour and will feature opportunities for audience participation. *Monday, Dec. 31, the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory will host a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration in “The Domes” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The celebration will feature live music, a magician, crafts, balloon sculpting, juggling and more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Zilli’s Hospitality. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 4 to 17.
