Brookfield tech firm earns Microsoft partner of the year designation

Organizations:

Concurrency, Inc., of Brookfield, has earned a 2012 Microsoft Content Management Partner of the Year Award.

The company was selected from among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
“This award recognizes our leadership in helping our customers better manage their information,” said Jim Savage, founder and president of Concurrency. “For more than 19 years our Content Management Practice has helped clients to better organize and manage business information and work processes.”
According to Savage, six years ago the firm recognized that Microsoft’s SharePoint platform was going to become the global standard for content management.
“SharePoint broadens and democratizes content management, which has lowered costs and extended functionality for our clients,” he said.
The Content Management Partner of the Year Award recognizes partners that have excelled in offering breakthrough content management solutions. Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from nearly 3,000 entrants worldwide.
According to Microsoft, the winner increased a customer’s employee productivity, simplified their access to information and people, maximized their ability to share and use a variety of documents, and enabled a more efficient and effective workforce.
“We are pleased to recognize Concurrency Inc. as the Microsoft Content Management Partner of Year. Their expertise in building and maintaining SharePoint solutions helps customers leverage information and get more value from their IT investments,” said Kirk Gregersen, general manager, Microsoft Office Division.
