Waukesha State Bank announced that its board of directors promoted Paula Brierton to president of its payroll services division, Payroll Complete.
In her new position, Brierton will be responsible for new business development, customer relations and servicing, and new product development and implementation. She also will manage the division’s daily operations and oversee its employees.
Payroll Complete prepares payroll for hundreds of companies, including those with just a few employees as well as those with several hundred. They provide not only basic payroll services, but also tax reporting and payment, custom report preparation, and other key payroll services.
Brierton joined Waukesha State Bank in 2009 as the manager of Payroll Complete, where she oversaw the upgrade and implementation of its processing software. Prior to that, Brierton was with Building Service Inc. since 1986, most recently serving as its director of human resources.
Waukesha State Bank is one of the largest locally owned and independent banks in Wisconsin, with full-service offices in Brookfield, Delafield, Mukwonago, Muskego, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Sussex and Waukesha, and opened its 14th full-service office in New Berlin, Wis., earlier this month. It also has Wealth Management Services that includes a trust and qualified plan division.
