Brewers Community Foundation Week raises more than $220,000

The Brewers Community Foundation announced that it raised more than $220,000 during its annual Brewers Community Foundation Week, which was held Aug. 16 through Aug. 22 at Miller Park.

The week-long charity event brought Brewers fans together for both fun and support of the foundation’s target causes – Health, Education, Recreation and Basic Needs. The charity week also educated Brewers fans about the specific nonprofit organizations the foundation grants funds to, such as Boys & Girls Club, Girl Scouts of Milwaukee, Hung Task Force, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and Sojourner Truth House. The foundation supports more than 200 organizations.
Charity events included an Ultimate Auction, which collected more than $24,000, as well as a Brewers Players Favorite Things Raffle, a clearance sale, and a Color Run.
