Bravo! Winner: Sarit Singhal, CEO and president, Superior Support Services, Inc.

Sarit Singhal

President and CEO

Superior Support Resources Inc.

333 Bishops Way, Suite 124, Brookfield

Employees: 30

Revenue: $5.3 million

For Sarit Singhal, a successful business depends on a two-way street: “I love to teach (clients) something they didn’t know about their own business,” he says. “But I also want to learn from them at the same time.”

As the president and chief executive officer of Brookfield-based IT firm Superior Support Services Inc., Singhal understands that clients rely on technology to keep their business moving forward.

“From strategy to tech support, there are several components of your traditional IT department,” he said. “What makes SSR different is first investing in understanding our clients’ business needs. Then we customize our technology offering to deliver as many, or as few of these IT components as needed.”

Born in India, Singhal moved to the U.S. when he was seven, and set out to work in robotics when he enrolled in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s engineering program.

But, Singhal says his minors in computer science and psychology provided the foundation of his business and gave him the “people dynamics,” needed to build client relationships.

After college, Singhal capitalized on his talents and launched Superior Support Services. His relationship building skills proved invaluable for the project-based company.

“Our business philosophy is very simple,” Singhal said. “Understand the needs of our staff, as well as our clients and build a business and solutions that delivers for them. Focus on creating an environment of trust and thought leadership.”

The company works to identify a business’ IT issue, and searches for a unique solution providing “a blend of high-level strategy, granular services, and everything in between.”
