Bravo!: Matthew Buerosse & Jesse Daily Partners, CORE Consulting LLC

Even though it’s only been two years since Matthew Buerosse and Jesse Daily partnered to form CORE Consulting LLC, they’re not surprised that they’ve grown to more than 30 employees and $1.5 million in annual revenues in that short time span.

“We’re filling a need in Wisconsin that’s being missed. We’re engineers working for engineers, and there’s no other company that does that,” Daily said.

There also aren’t many Wisconsin companies that have had significant growth throughout each quarter of the down economy. Buerosse and Daily attribute that growth to the relationships they have with their clients, with whom they’re very flexible in order to fit their changing needs.

Much of their business comes from great client referrals, they said.

Social media also plays a part in their success, according to Daily. Their average employee is in their early 30s, so they use plenty of networking sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn, to find their employees.

Another benefit to having younger employees is that they are continually looking to advance and can go through complementary training to update their skills, Buerosse said.

CORE Consulting is interested in starting that training even at the high school age, where most students who have an interest in engineering aren’t learning on professional software, he said

CORE Consulting has partnered with PTC, a leading software developer, to create a program called DesignQuest. It is a cost-effective program designed to have site-licensed instructors enabling students to become proficient on the software and even includes on-site visits.

“We don’t exist unless our employees exist,” Daily said, “So this program is a way to teach our students and empower us internally.”
