Total operating expenses for the 2015 fiscal year were $19.5 million, down from $19.9 million in 2014.

The Bradley Center’s total change in net assets for the fiscal year was a net loss of $1.5 million, an improvement of $350,000 from the prior fiscal year.

The improvement was primarily a result of improved attendance for the Milwaukee Bucks and the addition of three playoff games in 2015, according to the report.

“The 2014-15 financial statements reflect a good season with a solid special event lineup, as well as renewed fan excitement and a playoff run for the ‘new’ Milwaukee Bucks,” said Steve Costello, president and CEO of the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Highlights of the 2015 concert and special event season included: Walking with Dinosaurs, Cirque du Solei, Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac, the Harlem Globetrotters, Monster Jam, Ariana Grande, Neil Diamond, Imagine Dragons and the Black and Brown Comedy Get Down.

The Bradley Center had a $800,00 net increase in cash during fiscal 2015, including $1 million in suite and sponsorship revenue collected in June, prior to the close of the fiscal year.

As of June 30, the Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corp. had debt totaling $16.8 million, down from $17.8 million the previous year.

The Bucks received $5.2 million in shared revenues from the Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corp., up from $4.7 million in fiscal 2014.

Also in 2015, nearly 30 nonprofit organizations earned $510,000 at Bradley Center concession stands.

The Bradley Center will be replaced by the new arena that will be built for the Bucks just to the north.

“We have a community obligation to continue to operate at the very highest levels until the new arena opens its doors, and we have an impressive lineup, including A-level concerts, the 2017 NCAA men’s basketball tournament and more announcements in the works, that requires us to do so,” Costello said.
