Jennifer Boerst has been promoted to COO of Milwaukee-based staffing company The Novo Group.
Boerst, who has been at Novo since it was founded in 2003, starting as a junior recruiter. She became director of client solutions in 2004, then director of service and delivery in 2006. In 2009, Novo restructured and Boerst became vice president of operations for the whole company.
Boerst will oversee field sales, deliveries and operations in her new role.
The Novo Group has grown quickly, with offices in St. Louis and Chicago and a remote workforce all over the country. It posted a 67 percent growth rate last year, with Boerst’s help.
The company recruited more than 500 individuals last year, 50 percent of them passive candidates. Novo uses an hourly pricing model and flexible, scalable recruiting.
