Country music star Blake Shelton will headline a Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Summerfest, Milwaukee World Festival Inc. announced today.
Shelton is a five time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year winner. He is also a coach on the NBC how The Voice.
Tickets for Blake Shelton’s Summerfest show go on sale Friday, Nov. 13.
This is the second headline show announced for Summerfest 2016. Selena Gomez will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on the opening night of Summerfest on Wednesday, June 29.
Summerfest 2016 will take place from June 29 to July 3 and July 5 to July 10.
Attendance at the 2015 Summerfest was 772,652, down from 850,000 in 2014. Milwaukee World Festival said cold temperatures and a work stoppage by Milwaukee County Transit System bus riders hurt attendance this year.
