BizTracker: Report cites aging workforce at Wisconsin hospitals

A new report by the Wisconsin Hospital Association cites the aging workforce at Wisconsin hospitals and suggests multi-disciplinary teams as a way to ensure that patient care will continue to be accessible, affordable and effective, especially for those with chronic or complex diseases.

The survey found health care employees are older than the general Wisconsin workforce, as almost 20 percent of the employees at hospitals are age 55 or older.
