The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) will host a groundbreaking ceremony today to celebrate the start of construction for the 93,000-square-foot, $75 million Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Complex.

The facility will be built northwest of Kenwood Boulevard and Maryland Avenue. It will be the first new academic building on the UWM campus on Milwaukee’s East Side in more than a decade. For more, read today’s BizTimes Real Estate Weekly.
