BizTimes Manufacturing Weekly: Waukesha Foundry introduces ‘Pay for Skill’ policy

Waukesha Foundry has implemented a new “Pay for Skill” policy as part of a three-year contract agreement with United Steelworkers Local 4845.

The program will provide employees with a clear career path while allowing for skills flexibility as needed by paying workers based on their skill and experience level, regardless of current task. Each employee will be tested in skill proficiency to determine his or her compensation level. For more, read the new edition of the BizTimes Manufacturing Weekly.
