BizTimes launches Nonprofit Giving Guide

BizTimes Milwaukee has released the “Giving Guide, Regional Philanthropic Opportunities,” a new print and digital publication to showcase nonprofit organizations seeking support from the business community.

The glossy, four-color magazine is available along with today’s edition of BizTimes Milwaukee, and also online in a digital page turn format.

“The nonprofit industry is an important sector of our local economy,” said Dan Meyer, publisher of BizTimes Milwaukee. “So many of our readers are not only impacted by the nonprofit industry, but they also serve on the boards of charities and make positive contributions to the quality of life here. This guide will be a great resource for the nonprofits, as well as business people who are looking for ways to serve.”

The guide features sponsored content from 27 area nonprofit organizations throughout south eastern Wisconsin and also features ten profiles of area philanthropists committed to donating their time talent and treasure the region’s nonprofit community.

"We are certain the Giving Guide will become a ‘coffee table’ reference book that helps connect the region’s nonprofit orgnaizations to the philanthropists and businesses eager to be of service throughout the year," Meyer said.

The Giving Guide is the latest addition to BizTimes Media LLC’s commitment to the region’s nonprofit community. The company also produces the BizTimes Nonprofit Directory, the BizTimes Nonprofit Weekly e-newsletter and the BizTimes Nonprofit Spotlight in the bi-weekly magazine. In addition, the company features nonprofits’ charitable outings throughout the year in BizTimes Around Town and is the media sponsor for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Partners in Philanthropy Luncheon.
