BizTimes Media LLC and WisPolitics.com have launched MKEpolitics, a new weekly e-newsletter devoted to providing news and insights about the Milwaukee political scene.
MKEpolitics will be delivered every Thursday afternoon to subscribers of the BizTimes Daily.
The free newsletter is jointly produced by BizTimes Media LLC and WisPolitics.com.
MKEpolitics will feature coverage of political news related to the Milwaukee region, including the city, county, state and federal governments, as well as political campaign news and commentary.
“We know from our reader surveys that the readers of the BizTimes Daily are very interested in public affairs, especially as it relates to political issues that affect their companies and the local economy,” said Dan Meyer, publisher of BizTimes Milwaukee. “This is our way of scratching that itch. MKEpolitics adds another layer of value to our weekly stable of vertical newsletters for our readers. We’re confident they will find MKEpolitics to be a useful resource and an efficient way of keeping themselves up to date and in the know. This is a great partnership between two of Wisconsin’s premier online news organizations.”
Jeff Mayers, president of WisPolitics.com, said, “So much of what goes on in Madison has a direct impact on Milwaukee and the entire southeastern Wisconsin region. MKEpolitics provides us with a way to package all of the news that is of interest to Milwaukee readers into one weekly newsletter. If it’s happening this week, you’re going to read about it in MKEpolitics. By partnering with BizTimes, we’re reaching the decision-makers in southeastern Wisconsin.”
The news content in MKEpolitics will be compiled by the editorials staffs of BizTimes Milwaukee and WisPolitics.com. The news also will be posted each week at www.mkepolitics.com and www.biztimes.com/mkepolitics.
