BizTimes invites employers to attend Health Care Reform Forum

Employers and human resource managers throughout southeastern Wisconsin are invited to attend the BizTimes Media Health Care Reform Breakfast Forum, which will take place on the morning of Friday, Sept. 13, at the new Milwaukee Marriott Downtown.

“Understanding Health Care Reform” will begin with a robust panel discussion featuring experts who will share updates about the Affordable Care Act and answer questions. The experts on the panel will include:

*Mike Derdzinski, senior vice president of Johnson Insurance Services LLC, Racine. Derdzinski will share insights about how the insurance exchanges will work and employers can best navigate the new systems of Obamacare.
* Kelly Kuglitsch, attorney and senior counsel of the Employee Benefits Practice Team at Davis & Kuelthau S.C. Kuglitsch works with employers to ensure compliant design and administration of employee benefit plans.
* Terri Lillesand, CPA and shareholder, Schenk. Lillesand is advising employers about how to comply with Obamacare.
* Jeff Marquardt, vice president of regional sales at Arise Health Plan. Marquardt will shed light on how benefit plans will be constructed to maximize the impact of coverage.
* Joanne Alig, senior vice president of policy and research at the Wisconsin Hospital Association. Alig will explain how health care providers are changing to comply with Obamacare.

The panel discussion will be moderated by BizTimes executive editor Steve Jagler, who won a national journalism award earlier this year for his reporting on the impact of the Affordable Care Act.

After the panel discussion, the conference will present breakout discussions led by various experts for employers.
