BizTimes adds Hess as reporter

    BizTimes Milwaukee today added reporter Corrinne Hess to its staff.

    Hess previously worked for four years as a reporter for the Milwaukee Business Journal. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter for several daily newspapers including: The Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Ill.; the Waukesha Freeman and the Kenosha News.

    She has also written as a correspondent for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and as a freelance writer has written some articles for Milwaukee Magazine.

    Hess is a four-time Milwaukee Press Club award winner and a two-time Wisconsin Newspaper Association Award winner.

    “We are thrilled to add an experienced, award-winning journalist of Corri Hess’ caliber to our team,” said BizTimes Milwaukee editor Andrew Weiland.

    Hess will cover commercial and residential real estate and local and state government.

    Andrew is the editor of BizTimes Milwaukee. He joined BizTimes in 2003, serving as managing editor and real estate reporter for 11 years. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, he is a lifelong resident of the state. He lives in Muskego with his wife, Seng, their son, Zach, and their dog, Hokey. He is an avid sports fan, a member of the Muskego Athletic Association board of directors and commissioner of the MAA's high school rec baseball league.
