BizStarts, a nonprofit organization that helps entrepreneurs develop their companies, plans to move its downtown Milwaukee office to a 5,000-square-foot space in the RiverCenter building in the Schlitz Park complex.
“We’re dealing with a wider variety of entrepreneurs and companies that ever before. We had to expand,” said Dan Steininger, president of BizStarts. “Schlitz Park is a great space. It’s buzzing with activity and is now actively supporting the entrepreneurial space by welcoming BizStarts as a tenant. We’ll have a place to provide educational sessions, accommodate our expanding staff, and give a diverse group of entrepreneurs access to a variety of resources.”
The new, entrepreneur-focused space, to be called BizForge, will provide work and meeting areas, along with services ranging from basic office resources to legal, technical and investor and banking assistance.
“BizStarts’ move to Schlitz Park reflects our commitment to create a work place that attracts the best and brightest with amenities and spaces that foster creativity and energy,” said Schlitz Park developer Gary Grunau.
BizStarts will maintain its satellite office at 10437 Innovation Dr. in the Milwaukee County Research Park in Wauwatosa.
