Roundy’s Supermarkets
The Business Health Care Group recently announced that Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc., Milwaukee, will join its employer membership organization beginning in January. Approximately 7,000 Roundy’s health plan enrollees will have access to the Humana Preferred network of providers as a result of the agreement. In addition to Roundy’s, the BHCG has announced that several other large southeastern Wisconsin employers are joining its ranks in January, including: Kenosha County, Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sheboygan and MGS Mfg. Group Inc. of Germantown.
Tushaus Computer Services
Tushaus Computer Services, Milwaukee, was recently approved to join Dell’s PartnerDirect Program as a Dell Certified Partner. Dell Certified Partnerships are granted only to select vendors who have met specific sales, customer service, and training requirements. Dell has recognized Tushaus’ proficiency in building solutions to meet the needs of their clients and their commitment to understanding the technology that Dell offers.
DCI Cheese Company
DCI Cheese Company, Richfield, has announced that its Black River Gorgonzola product and its El Cortijo Murcia al Vino both received bronze awards at the World Cheese Awards held in the United Kingdom.
In addition to a variety of other honors, Black River Gorgonzola has received six first place awards over the last 10 years at the American Cheese Society contest, U.S. Championship Contest, Wisconsin State Fair and Wisconsin Dairy Expo. This is the cheese’s first prize at the World Cheese Awards. El Cortijo Murcia al Vino is a young, firm, goat’s milk cheese with a bold flavor and intoxicating aroma. The imported cheese is bathed in red wine during ripening, a process that deeply tints the cheese to produce a burgundy color and adds a hint of flavor. Murcia al Vino has been certified with a guarantee that the cheese is made in the Murcia region of Spain from the milk of Murciano-Granadina goats.
Northwestern Mutual-Schwertfeger Office
Scott Schwertfeger, managing director, Chris Fugman, financial representative, Ron Krizek, financial representative, and the Schwertfeger Office of Northwestern Mutual have recently been honored with various Northwestern Mutual Achievement Awards. The awards recognize overall excellence in development, productivity, and persistency in client service. The Schwertfeger Office is ranked the number one Central Region District Network Office. Chris Fugman has been named the Silver Award Winner after ranking first out of 450 financial representatives within his category. Ron Krizek was also ranked third out of 1,600 Central Regional financial representatives.
Diablos Rojos Restaurant Group
Diablos Rojos Restaurant Group has announced it has changed its business name to the Lowlands Group. According to Mike Eitel, co-owner of the group, the new name references a region of Europe that has inspired the group’s focus on Belgian and Dutch grand café culture. The ownership and management of the restaurant group will not change under the new name, and the company is also preparing for growth. The Lowlands Group currently owns and operates Trocadero, Café Hollander-Downer Avenue, Café Hollander-Tosa Village, and Café Centraal. A new addition, Café Benelux, is planned to open April 2011 in the Third Ward.
