Froedtert and The Medical College
A new Walk-In Clinic at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Westbrook Health Center in Waukesha recently opened its doors to give Waukesha County residents an option for after-hours care without an appointment. Designed to treat the same types of acute health concerns that are seen at the health center during regular business hours, the Walk-In Clinic at Westbrook Health Center provides care on evenings and weekends for urgent medical needs that don’t require emergency treatment. The Walk-In Clinic is located in the Westbrook Health Center at 2315 E. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. It is open weekdays from 5-8 p.m. and on weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Care is provided by Medical College of Wisconsin physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Laboratory and medical imaging services including X-ray, MRI and CT will be available on site.
Quad Graphics
Quad/Graphics Inc., Sussex, has been awarded a new multi-year contract with Conde Nast Publications. Quad/Graphics will continue print production on 11 of the publisher’s magazine titles through the end of 2013. The titles are some of the most well-known brands on newsstands today and include: Allure, Architectural Digest, Detail, Golf Digest, Golf World, GQ, Lucky, Teen Vogue, Self, Vogue and Wired. This newly extended contract is separate from a long-standing prepress agreement Quad renewed earlier this year with Conde Nast through the end of 2012.
Milwaukee Wave
MkeLive, has announced a strategic partnership with Milwaukee Wave Professional Indoor Soccer. MKELive will help the Wave strengthen its social media presence and messaging, provide the front office and select players with social media training, and assist the organization with professional networking strategies to develop new corporate sponsors. MKELive will also assist the Wave in expanding its information distribution network. As part of the agreement, MKELive will become the official social media and professional networking partner of the Milwaukee Wave.
Hilton Garden Inn
The Hilton Garden Inn, Oconomowoc, located in the planned Pabst Farms community, has been awarded the “Excellence in Quality” award – an honor distinguishing the property as one of the “best of the best” within the Hilton Family of Hotels. As a recipient of the “Excellence of Quality” award, the Hilton Garden Inn needed to receive five consecutive outstanding quality assurance evaluations. These evaluations were based on property inspections, customer feedback measured through guest satisfaction surveys, and product quality and service scores measured quarterly by the company. The 100-room Hilton Garden Inn Oconomowoc has 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space; a 24-hour complimentary business center; the Pavilion Pantry; and the Great American Grill. The facility is owned by Pabst Farms and operated by Fitchburg-based S&L Hospitality.
ProHealth Care Medical Associates president and CEO to leave
Bud Chumbley, president and chief executive officer of ProHealth Care Medical Associates, announced he will leave his position on March 15 to become chief medical officer for a health system in Austin, Texas.
Jim Lyons, ProHealth Care senior vice president for administration, will assume administrative leadership responsibilities for ProHealth Care Medical Associates upon Chumbley’s departure.
Chumbley began working with ProHealth Care in the fall of 2007 as president of Menomonee Falls-based Medical Associates when the two organizations announced their plans to merge. Chumbley became president and CEO of the newly formed ProHealth Care Medical Associates in January 2008, bringing together Medical Associates’ 12 locations and ProHealth Care’s 16 Waukesha Medical Centers’ locations. ProHealth Care Medical Associates has grown to include more than 200 primary and specialty physicians in 25 locations throughout Waukesha, Washington, Jefferson and Milwaukee Counties.
“We are extremely grateful for the contributions that Bud has made to our organization,” said Ford Titus, president and CEO of Waukesha-based ProHealth Care. “He was the single most influential individual in bringing ProHealth Care together with Medical Associates. Once that was accomplished, he set about the work of integrating Medical Associates with Waukesha Health Care as ProHealth Care Medical Associates was formed.
