Waukesha-based Bielinski Homes, known primarily for new home construction, recently announced that it is expanding its commercial development division and launching new retail developments.
Bielinski Homes said it will concentrate its commercial development activities on a variety of projects, including shopping centers and multi-unit apartment facilities, focusing on southeastern and south central Wisconsin.
Bielinski Homes has had some limited involvement in commercial development projects in the past. For the first time, however, the company will now independently build, operate and manage its commercial buildings through Bielinski Homes’ commercial division.
The company is currently building its initial commercial development, called Hidden Hills, near Highway 33 in Port Washington.
"Almost half of the 16,000-square-foot Hidden Hills building has been leased to a national fitness company, and we are looking to have a great mix of outstanding tenants that likely will include financial, telecommunications, health care services and others to occupy the remaining space," said Frank Bielinski, founder of Bielinski Homes. "We are fortunate that we have a tremendous opportunity here to build upon our established reputation for quality and create another positive chapter in our company’s history."
In addition to the Hidden Hills project, Bielinski Homes owns land and is exploring possible commercial developments in West Bend, Waukesha, Pewaukee, Elkhorn, Waterford, Watertown and Cottage Grove.
"We own land in some of the most desirable commercial locations in the region and are excited about the opportunities those properties present for our expanding commercial
development division," Bielinski said. "Our portfolio of properties located near growing commercial areas presents strong opportunities to develop and build high quality commercial projects in these communities."
