Benji’s Deli abandons plans for East Tosa

Will maintain existing locations in Shorewood and Fox Point

Benji’s Deli and Restaurant, which has locations in Shorewood and Fox Point, announced last June that it would add a location adjacent to Camp Bar at 6606 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa.

But the restaurant announced on Facebook this week that it has now cancelled those plans.

“We are disappointed to announce that we have to cancel our new location in East Tosa. Thanks to the ownership and staff at Camp Bar for their warm welcome and support and to the residents of Wauwatosa for their excitement and hospitality. We are truly humbled by the community response to our Deli and remain hopeful of opening a Benji’s Tosa in the future,” the Benji’s Deli Facebook post said.
