Baker Tilly completes move to U.S. Bank Center

Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP announced Tuesday that it has completed its move from the Honey Creek Corporate Center on the west side of Milwaukee to the U.S. Bank Center at 777 E. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee.

The accounting and advisory firm is occupying about 68,000 square feet of space on floors 32-34 at the U.S. Bank Center.

“Our move downtown has been greeted with much enthusiasm not only from our employees, but also from the community,” said Bill Wertz, Milwaukee office market leader for Baker Tilly. “We’ve been overwhelmed by the warm welcome we are receiving from the U.S. Bank building tenants and other downtown businesses.”

The firm has about 225 employees in its Milwaukee office.

“Our new Milwaukee office was designed with three key objectives in mind,” Wertz said. “We wanted our office space to ‘wow’ clients, potential clients and prospective employees without being ‘showy.’ It needed to be a comfortable work environment that meets the needs of employees who work long hours during the tax and audit seasons. And we needed to use the space as efficiently as possible.”
