Baird adds financial advisors in Green Bay, draws arbitration request from Smith Barney

Milwaukee-based Robert W. Baird & Co. recently added two Green Bay financial advising teams to its ranks.

In late May, the Darling Kinzinger Group and The Puissant Wiers Group brought Baird’s team of financial professionals in the Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay market to 30. The Darling Kinzinger Group and Puissant Wiers Group each brought four wealth management employees to Baird.

“We are pleased to welcome these very well respected and talented financial professionals to Baird,” said Ken Petter, manager of Baird’s Green Bay branch. “Baird’s strong culture, our people, our business model, and the deep partnerships we establish with clients are a draw for financial advisors who are seeking an environment where they can best serve their clients’ needs and continue to build their business.”

Both groups worked previously for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, which filed a civil case in federal court in Green Bay, asking for a temporary restraining order and arbitration in the matter. A judge dismissed the request for the restraining order. The arbitration request is pending.
