Aurora’s Kenosha outpatient cancer center building sold for $24.45 million

A 61,000-square-foot Aurora Health Care clinic in Kenosha that includes an outpatient cancer center, a pain management center and an ophthalmology treatment center was sold to an affiliate of New York-based American Realty Capital for $24.45 million, according to state records.

The facility, which opened this spring, is located at 6811 118th Ave. in Kenosha. The property is located at 118th Avenue and 68th Street, next to a Steinhafels store and across the street from a Gander Mountain store. The site is close to Aurora’s existing Kenosha hospital at 10400 75th St.

The outpatient cancer center occupies 35,000 square feet of space in the building, the ophthalmology and pain management centers occupy 19,000 square feet, and about 6,000 square feet of shell space in the building is vacant, said Aurora spokesman Adam Beeson.

The facility was sold by Milwaukee-based Kenosha Healthcare Properties LLC, a subsidiary of Appleton-based The Boldt Company. Boldt was the developer and construction manager for the project and leased the building to Aurora.
