Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care has installed a ScriptPro inventory management system to improve its pharmacy processes.
The system, known as SIM, works with Aurora’s SP Central Workflow System to provide realtime inventory tracking, order generation, electronic transmission and receiving. When a supply is running low, the system automatically re-orders it to prevent availability delays.
The company will improve patient care while more efficiently managing its pharmacy with the ScriptPro product.
“SIM seamlessly integrates inventory management and tracking into the pharmacy workflow and provides a powerful tool to reduce costly overhead and time-consuming out-of-stocks by ensuring we always have the optimum level of stock on hand,” said Dave Goehlen, R.Ph. at Aurora Health Care.
