AT&T data center in Pewaukee sold for $52 million

Tampa, Fla.-based Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc. recently purchased the AT&T data center at N15 W24250 S. Riverwood Dr. in the city of Pewaukee for $51.87 million from AT&T.

Carter Validus is leasing the building back to AT&T, which signed a 10-year lease. The facility houses a wide arry of enterprise applications for AT&T’s business operations.

The 142,952-square-foot building has 40,000 square feet of raised floor space and 60,000 square feet of supporting infrastructure and critical systems.

“The addition of the AT&T data center is representative of our commitment to acquire high quality, mission critical assets under long-term net leases with credit tenants,” said John Carter, CEO of Carter Validus. “We look forward to adding more assets of this caliber to our investment portfolio.”
