Associated Bank has announced four new leaders on its Milwaukee team.
Jason Makowski has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial project office director. He will be responsible for project management best practices implementation for the commercial banking business line, to improve customer-related projects. Makowski previously served as vice president, project manager, for five years and works out of the offices at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee.
Steve Opichka has joined Associated as senior vice president, senior director of retail lending operations. He will lead and direct the execution of underwriting, processing, closing, compliance and investor and post-closing functions for residential lending. Opichka has 23 years of experience in banking and retail lending, most recently at BMO Harris Bank, and works out of the office at 3925 W. Mitchell St. in Milwaukee.
Jamie Mesa has been hired as vice president, operations legal manager. She will be responsible for the bankruptcy, litigation, claims, accounts payable and vendor management departments, in addition to the regulatory requirements for the FNMA Star Program. Mesa most recently served as director of process improvement and project management at Aldridge Connors LLP. She now works out of the corporate offices at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee.
Ramona Stadler has joined Associated as branch manager at the branch in Woodman’s Food Market, 8131 S. Howell Ave. in Oak Creek. She manages overall operations of the branch, while developing and maintain business and consumer relationships. Stadler has 18 years of banking experience and previously served as a financial program specialist at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
