Ascedia acquires Roll Mobile

Milwaukee-based Ascedia Inc., a full-service digital agency, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Milwaukee-based digital development and marketing agency Roll Mobile.

Roll Mobile started in 2009 dedicated to delivering mobile solutions, including mobile site and application development and social media strategy. Roll Mobile’s clients include Master Lock, Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Aurora Health Care, Radio Milwaukee and Sub-Zero/Wolf.

The principles of Ascedia were shareholders in Roll Mobile since its inception and provided capital and leadership to Roll’s other shareholders.

“As clients felt compelled to provide access to digital content over mobile devices, Roll Mobile had the experience and depth to deliver results,” said Dan Early, president of Ascedia. “As Ascedia’s clients requested integrated mobile strategies, it became clear that we needed to align the talents of Roll and Ascedia to create the best solutions for our clients. We began the acquisition process at that time.”

The entire staff of Roll Mobile will be moving to Ascedia as part of this acquisition.

“Our team is excited to join our colleagues at Ascedia,” said Erin Ulicki, vice president of business development at Roll Mobile. “We have always been a part of the Ascedia family, but this integration allows for better flow of idea sharing and implementation on behalf of all of Ascedia’s clients.”
