Arzbaecher and Hackmann will co-chair UPAF campaign

Robert Arzbaecher, the outgoing chief executive officer of Menomonee Falls-based Actuant Corp., and Glen Hackmann, managing director, general counsel and secretary of Milwaukee-based Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., will be co-chairs of the 2014 fund drive for the United Performing Arts Fund of Greater Milwaukee.

A UPAF spokesman said a third co-chair will be announced soon.

In a quarterly conference call with analysts this week, Arzbaecher said, “I’ve increasingly been involved in several not-for-profit and educational organizations here in Milwaukee and want to devote significantly more time and energy to these causes.”

Arzbaecher will retire as Actuant CEO in January.

Hackmann was the 2012 recipient of the Brenton H. Rupple Citizenship Award, which is Baird’s highest community service honor. He has served as the chairman of the UPAF board.
