Milwaukee-based Artistic Plating Company will change its name to Advanced Plating Technologies, effective Monday, Dec. 9.
The name change is being done to better align with the company’s current capabilities, engineering focus and commitment to technological growth, according to a notice by Matthew Lindstedt, technical sales manager at the firm, which is located at 405 W. Cherry St.
The company was founded in 1948. Over the past decade, the company has been undergoing significant changes in its finishing capabilities, its markets serviced and its strategic focus.
The name change will not reflect any changes in the company’s ownership or investors.
