APPLETON – Greenhouse project boosts job training for veterans

The construction of a greenhouse is being envisioned as a foundation for struggling veterans to build productive and successful civilian lives.

Riverview Gardens is collaborating with the Outagamie County Veterans Treatment Court on a project designed to reignite leadership skills among the court’s participants. They will build a year-round, hydroponic greenhouse at the swimming pool at the former country club.
