Applause!

BizTimes Milwaukee is proud to present the 2011 Bravo! Entrepreneur and IQ (Innovation Quotient) Awards, honoring southeastern Wisconsin business leaders who are boldly leading their companies with vision and innovation and corporations generating innovative products, services or processes.

This year’s Bravo! Entrepreneur Lifetime Achievement Award went to the Usinger Family. Previous recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award include Stephen Marcus, Richard Pieper Sr., Harry Quadracci, George Dalton, Robert Kern and Joseph Zilber. The Usinger name has been one of the iconic brands in metro Milwaukee. Since 1880, Fred Usinger Inc. has made sausages and cured meats, and the company has passed from its founder, Fred Usinger, to a fourth generation of the family who runs the company today.
