A Green Bay-based home builder is planning a 60-unit apartment building in Pleasant Prairie.
The project, in the Prairie Ridge area of the village, north of 97th Court and west of 94th Avenue, will be built by Lexington Homes Inc. It includes one- and two-bedroom units with 60 underground parking spaces and 63 surface lots.
The Pleasant Prairie plan commission approved design plans Monday for the project, which will be built on approximately 3.35 acres.
The project will be operated in a similar manner to Lexington Home’s Cobblestone Creek development, located to the northeast of the new development, according to the village. Construction is expected to begin next month.
The plan commission also approved the final site and operational plans for Industry, Calif.-based Majestic Realty’s project to construct a 424,164-square-foot speculative building along the east side of 88th Avenue.
The building could be divided to accommodate up to four tenants. A conceptual plan was conditionally approved for the property in October of 2012. Majestic has tentative plans to construct a second building on the southern portion of the property in the future, according to a press release from the village.
