Apartment development planned at gateway to downtown Oconomowoc

A group led by Realtor Jon Spheeris plans to build a 42-unit apartment building at the site of his office building at 311 E. Wisconsin Ave., next to the roundabout at the eastern gateway to downtown Oconomowoc.

The proposed building would replace the office building, which would be demolished. It would be three stories tall and would have 59 underground parking spaces.

The project, called the Gateway, was recently approved by the city’s Architectural Commission. City staff are reviewing the project and it should be up for review by the Plan Commission in February or March, said city planner and zoning administrator Jason Gallo.
