Port Washington-based Ansay & Associates has acquired Stevens Point-based Disher Insurance Services for an undisclosed price.

Disher, an independent insurance agency providing personal, benefits and commercial insurance, has seven employees. All of the employees will stay on board at its Stevens Point office, said Mike Ansay, chief executive officer of Ansay & Associates.

Ansay, a regional insurance and benefit solutions agency, now has 232 employees at locations in Port Washington, Cedarburg, Burlington, West Bend, Marshfield, Mosinee, Manitowoc, Madison, Appleton, Green Bay and Stevens Point.

This is the firm’s third acquisition in six months. It also purchased Franklin- and Oshkosh-based Servant Insurance last month and Cedarburg-based Koehler Insurance in November.

“Similar to our recent acquisitions, Disher complements our services and culture. Together, we can collaborate, and in turn provide each of our clients with more innovative insurance solutions and services,” Ansay said.

Disher will report to Ansay’s Mosinee office, under the leadership of Matt Kolling.

“This gives us the opportunity to provide greater insurance services to our clients. We are excited and look forward to our partnership with Ansay & Associates.” stated Mike Disher, president of Disher Insurance Services.
