Anodyne Coffee opens in Walker’s Point neighborhood

Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company will celebrate the opening of its new roasting and café operation at 224 W. Bruce St. in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood.

The grand opening party will be on Friday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 9 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Founded in 1999, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company is a micro-roaster that focuses on small-batch roasting to ensure quality.

The new location in Walker’s Point serves up a distinctive customer experience; boasting a repurposed 40-foot bar, exposed cream city brick and an abundance of natural lighting. Through an opening in the brick wall, customers can view the roasting process while enjoying a drink from the espresso bar. The facility also has a stage for live events and a training lab for wholesale accounts and café staff.
