Anchor Bank to rebuild downtown West Allis branch

Madison-based Anchor Bank plans to demolish its existing 6,700-square-foot branch building at 7401 W. Greenfield Ave. in downtown West Allis and will build a new 3,400-square-foot branch building in its place.

The cost of the project is estimated at $1 million.

Not all of the existing parking lot, south of the alley and behind the needed for the new bank. The bank will split off an approximate 11,000-sqaure-foot piece of land area south of the alley to be sold for future development.
