First Business Bank, part of the First Business Financial Services, Inc., family of companies, recently promoted Alicia Buttchen to the position of assistant vice president-treasury management.
Buttchen joined First Business in November 2014 and has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on serving the needs of local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. In her new role, she will focus specifically on deposit strategies, mitigating the risk of fraud, and creating efficiencies through process improvements to maintain a positive cash flow and improve the bottom line. This entails a comprehensive understanding of each company’s cash flow cycle, collecting receivables, processing payables, and managing and mitigating the risk of fraud.
Education: Alicia is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has a General Banking & Small Business Banking diploma from the American Institute of Banking, and is a graduate of Leadership Waukesha County.
