Aldi plans new stores in Pewaukee, Greenfield

Discount grocery store chain Aldi Inc. plans to build new stores in Pewaukee and Greenfield.
The 18,000-sqaure-foot Pewaukee store would be built on a vacant, 2.3-acre site at 1201 George Towne Dr. It would be the first Aldi store in Pewaukee.
The 18,000-square-foot Greenfield store would replace an existing 15,000-square-foot store at 4225 S. 108th St. The plans call for improvements to the site to eliminate flooding problems, said Greenfield planning director Chuck Erickson.
