Airport installs electronic charging stations

Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport is installing 60 new electronic charging stations throughout the gate-area seating for use by travelers.

Each lit charging station features six outlets and two USB ports to charge laptops, cell phones, tablets and other mobile electronic devices. The stations will be free to use.

So far, the new charging stations have only been installed on the D Concourse. The rest of the charging stations are scheduled to be installed within the coming weeks.
