AFFIRM Agency won a total of five ADDY awards at the 2019 American Advertising Awards Show hosted at Monona Terrace on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019.

AFFIRM won a GOLD ADDY for the By Your Side campaign in the category of Integrated Media Public Service Campaign for the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WCASA). The awareness campaign was created to provide survivors with support, information, and resources that are available to them. In addition to a paid targeted online campaign, the campaign featured a microsite with information on the Wisconsin Sexual Assault Kit Initiative, and an interactive map to help those in need find resources in their area. AFFIRM will advance to the Regional American Advertising Awards competition later this year for the By Your Side campaign.

The agency won a SILVER ADDY for the Barrymore Theatre branding in the category of visual – logo design. The newly designed logo captures all that is the Barrymore Theatre.

In addition, AFFIRM won a SILVER ADDY for Laura’s Gourmet Granola website in the category of Online/Interactive B-to-B websites. AFFIRM created a new look for Laura’s Gourmet Granola’s website, which included art-directed photography. AFFIRM also revamped the e-commerce platform to be more user friendly.

AFFIRM also won a SILVER ADDY for the Wisconsin Center District brochure in the category of Public Service Collateral – Brochure/Sales Kit. The brochure is used by the Wisconsin Center District to advertise the three facilities available to new cliental and bookers at national trade shows. AFFIRM included the Wisconsin Center, the Miller High Life Theater, and the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in the brochure to draw new talent to Milwaukee.

Lastly, AFFIRM won a SILVER ADDY for their holiday campaign entitled, “Elf Days of Christmas” in the category of Social Media Campaigns. This campaign was a brand awareness campaign created for Facebook during the holiday season for AFFIRM Agency itself. The campaign followed Jasper the Elf as he experienced a rebrand after wandering far from the North Pole.

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is a national organization that includes members across all disciplines in advertising. The annual American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising through local competitions across the nation. Entries that are recognized with Gold awards hold the only point of entry to the regional and national American Advertising Awards.
